How do you feel about half-naked women advertising new fragrances or lip gloss?

Do you think it is necessary that they have this tempting look and sexi appearance? Do you believe it has got an influence on your decision whether or not to buy it?How do you feel about half-naked women advertising new fragrances or lip gloss?
It doesn't bother me to be honest, it is all just an advertising con. If you seen ugly women advertising a lipgloss or perfume you would be less likely to buy it. You wouldn't be able to see how nice a Christian Dior lipgloss could look if the person advertising it was spotty with a small thin mouth. In fact most people would be put off buying it. Advertising cleverly plays on the subconscious! I still buy them though, I love lipgloss and perfume :) xxHow do you feel about half-naked women advertising new fragrances or lip gloss?
I think if they make the people on the advert, people will buy the product thinkin they will look good. I think it's pointless havin adverts to advertise new fragrances because there isnt Smellovision on the TV! I buy perfure judged on the smell so that is just my opinion.

hey i think theyre hot. :] but i dont think it influences me to buy it. i look for a good color and long lasting lip color, and whatever fragrance smells good to me. they just want an eye-catching ad so that people will stop, look, and notice the product.
I get jealous when i see them...hahaha. Especially if my hair is greasy, or i have spots or im having a bad day. I suppose it does influence our choice, because you think if they are keen to advertise the product then it must the hotest product out there, and the product must be really cool.
Doesn't work on me I have never bought perfume or lip gloss! However I will die defending their right to be semi naked in any place or for any cause they see fit.

Who would ever want to buy anything from an ugly old hag? They use those beautiful models to ';seduce'; us into buying their products, and it works!

Personally, I really don't feel anything at all. I'm looking at the product, not the women.





But, to answer your question: No, it's not really ';nescessary'; to have a tempting and sexy appearence but that's what apppeals to the majority of the consumers, so that's what they'll do until sex stops selling...whenever that'll be.
its a good way to sell the products but it's not advertising bloody porn.
