How long does lip gloss can last?

I have a lip gloss from 4 and a half years ago.... how long does it last?How long does lip gloss can last?
techincally you are supposed to throw them away after a year because of bacteria and stuff.. not that they go bad.How long does lip gloss can last?

4 yrs and a half? you shouldnt use it, i think
forever! lol...i think most of us have tons of makeup new and old,you can still use it until its finished i'd say!
it last for 6 months you have to throw them away after 6 months because it will makes your lips dry and it will affect your lips it makes your lips rough
look at the best before/expiration date..mostly these kind of products lasts for 2 years...I bet your lip gloss' already expired...

To the best of my knowledge, you had better get rid of it. Lipstick only stays for two (2) years max, no longer than that (due to its wax as one of the ingredients). And I guess lip gloss won't last long either.


So, go buy a new one, dump the old one !!
