lighter colors go better on darker skin tones. Try Mac's stuff. they have 3-4 different types of gloss in all sorts of colors.
red is the best color

Also, browns and shades with gold undertones will look nice. Avoid frosted colors such as pinks and corals. NO ONE should wear these colors. They make your teeth look yellow!
I seen a beautiful black woman in the super market and she had the most lovely shade of deep berry on her lips. I thought, what a great color for her!
To your skin I would recommend you to wear a pink lip gloss or lip stick. It will give a very soft look to your face and it will make a very good match to your skin tone.
i really love how shimmery fuchsias and reds look on dark skin the color just pops more I like Mayballine they have these cute tubes in semi sheer colors but don't be afraid of any color you can find good glosses anywhere Target,Nordstroms, Sephora, Wallgreens, and all these places let u return or exchange if you dont like'em er sumthing i know b/c i have oh and if you put chapstick before you put the gloss it will last longer

Lip colors with berry shades, plums, burgandies and all shades of browns look great with dark skin. Also beiges, golds and soft pinks work well. Generally these colors work well: Nude pinks, nude beiges, mochas, coffees, mahoganies, chocolates, berry shades, deep berry shades, dark plums, wines, burgundies. Avoid orange shades, they will wash you out
